A hot pot restaurant recently went viral among singles with its unique take on surprise dating.
It allows diners in different booths to meet, if both agree, at the flip of a switch that lowers a divide.
Li You, the restaurant’s co-founder, aims to give single men and women a way to meet their future partners.
The restaurant was opened on Valentine’s Day and has attracted 160 customers per day since.
Every two or three days a couple would enjoy a successful date, said the co-founder.
