(ECNS) -- China Guardian (HK) Spring Auction 2019 will be held in Hong Kong from March 28 to 31. And 1,400 art works will come under the hammer, evaluated at $46 million in total.
The works include Chinese calligraphy and painting, porcelain, 20th century and contemporary Asian art.
A fine and rare teadust-glazed teapot from the Emperor Yongzheng period and a polychrome lacquer spring cong box from the Emperor Qianglong period of the Qing dynasty (1644-1911) took the spotlight during the preview.
The teadust-glazed teapot is estimated to fetch between $480,000 and $530,000.
The cong box from the Emperor Qianglong period is estimated to fetch between $51,000 and $76,000.
