Images of a Pallas's cat mother with her five kittens were captured by infrared camera in the Qilian Mountains of Qinghai province.
The kittens closely followed their mother and enjoyed the warm sunlight.
A Pallas's cat is about the size of a house cat and feeds mainly on pika.
The Pallas's cat has been classified as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red List since 2002.
