(ECNS) -- An annual ceremony was held to worship Chinese ancestor Huangdi,or the Yellow Emperor, in his hometown Henan.
The ceremony attracted overseas Chinese from 40 countries and regions to remember and honor their common roots.
Many teenagers attended the ceremony with parents this year.
The ceremony has been held for 13 consecutive years and has become an iconic cultural event in the Chinese world.
