It is gaining popularity among youth at Renmin University in Beijing.
In addition to traditional stuffed red beans, students also prefer durian and sesame fillings.
The university’s canteen sold as many at 4,000 qingtuan in a day.
It is estimated that 100,000 balls will be sold in a month.
