(ECNS) — German football manager and former player Jurgen Klinsmann made a tour as special guest to Bundesliga International's newly opened office in Beijing from April 12 to 14.
His visit has sparked much speculation.
Responding to a question about how to improve China's football performance, Klinsmann stressed that people cannot make good decisions without a sound understanding of the development of football in a country.
"This is my first trip to Beijing and I have limited understanding of Chinese culture, the Chinese Super League and Chinese coaches and players. I ought to have a good understanding to what I'm going to do before I make a decision," he said.
Klinsmann said he didn't expect he would coach Germany, the U.S. or Bayern Munich before, but he made them all, so would not exclude the possibility of becoming the head coach of China's national team.
