(ECNS) -- Contemporary Dunhuang Painting Tour has commenced at Gansu Provincial Art Museum in Lanzhou, Gansu Province.
Works include fresco stories in Mogao Grottoes and those of people dedicated to the site.
Life-size copies of original frescos were displayed along with western oil paintings interpreting Dunhuang culture.
Paintings paying tribute to those devoted to Dunhuang art were also present.
The exhibition aims to promote the beauty of Dunhuang art.
