(ECNS) -- The Taesong Department Store in Pyongyang has reopened after more than a year of renovation.
It is a six-floor shopping mall, with five floors aboveground and one underground.
On the first floor is the grocery area, selling dry food, drinks and snacks.
On the second floor is a clothing area, where ethnic costumes are prominently displayed. Electronic products made by Lenovo, Canon, Philips and other world brands can be found here.
High-end products including Coach handbags, Rolex watches and SKII skincare are on the third floor.
The fourth floor is a dining area dominated by local food. Asian and European cuisines are also provided here.
Although it was the first day of business, many products were sold out within hours.
