(ECNS) -- Escorted by Chinese police, a group of 94 telecom fraud suspects flew to Beijing from Spain on the morning of June 7.
The 94 individuals, all from Taiwan, were among the 237 suspects detained in Spain during a three-year joint operation against cross-border telecom fraud. Spain has handed over a total of 225 suspects to Chinese police, 218 of them from Taiwan. The latest effort was the largest single delivery of Chinese telecom fraud suspects from Europe.
