(ECNS) -- A hospital and some houses in Shuanghe Town were seriously damaged after a 6.0-magnitude earthquake hit the town in Changning County of Yibin, southwest China's Sichuan Province, on Monday night.
Patients have been evacuated and transferred to safe locations. No casualties were reported at the damaged hospital.
The epicenter, with a depth of 16 km, was monitored at 28.34 degrees north latitude and 104.90 degrees east longitude, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
