In 1988, Bill (William N. Brown) and his family came to Xiamen to study Chinese. In 1994, Bill drove 40,000 kilometers and travelled through most Chinese cities.
In 2019, Bill drove to China again to witness the changes that have taken place in China over the past 25 years.
In February 2019, Bill's new book, Off The Wall, Show We Fell For China, was published. He sent it to Chinese President Xi Jinping and soon received a reply from President Xi.
