Former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown said China “is moving into a new phase of economic development” at 2019 Qiantang River Forum in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.
In a speech at the forum, he said China is moving to be an innovation economy that requires investment, research, development and highly-educated workforces. “And you are doing so not only in the area of manufacturing technology, but also in finance, innovation and, of course, in the area of environmental improvement.”
