(ECNS) -- Stuntman Ji Jingyu put on a thrilling show by walking barefoot along the blade of a giant knife in Chongqing Garden Expo Park.
An 18 meter-long knife weighing 2.3 tons was placed on stage and inclined at an angle of 35 degrees to the ground.
The knife's edge is so sharp that it can instantly cut through red silk at the slightest touch.
Without any protection, Ji and his apprentice performed a variety of thrilling stunts, winning strong applause from the audience.
Ji, born in Songtao County, Guizhou Province, has been engaged in stunt performances for more than 30 years.
He plans to expand the challenge by doing stunts on a 100-meter-long knife at the Great Wall and under Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River.
