Ancient instruments located more than 800 kilometers apart came together in harmony on Sunday through the use of 5G technology.
The Zenghouyi Chime Bells at the Hubei provincial museum sounded at the same time as musician Gao Peifen played an ancient Guqin at the Shandong provincial museum.
The special concert used technology to bring the sounds of the two instruments together.
The Guqin, a seven-stringed plucked instrument in some ways similar to the zither, is from the Tang Dynasty (618-907).
The Zenghouyi Chime Bells date back to about 2,500 years ago and were excavated in 1978 from Marquis Yi's tomb in Hubei Province.
