(ECNS) -- A pregnant woman with novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) pneumonia has delivered a healthy baby in Harbin City, Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.
The baby girl weighed 3.05 kilograms and was given a 10 Apgar score at birth.
When the 38-week pregnant woman was reported on Jan. 30, a group of experts gave her a consultation and decided to do a cesarean section immediately.
The mother is in stable condition now.
The baby tested negative for the novel coronavirus on Friday and Sunday.
All the medical workers involved in the operation have no occupational exposure and are now under isolation observation.
