(ECNS) -- An autonomous delivery device can smartly avoid traffic and pedestrians in Qingshan District of Wuhan, Hubei Province.
It has successfully delivered medical supplies to Wuhan No. 9 Hospital.
It is the robot's first successful mission since the novel coronavirus outbreak affected this hardest-hit city.
It brought us much needed medical supplies and greatly reduced the risk of infection, which is a great help, medical staff said.
Later, more robots will deliver supplies to other hospitals in Wuhan.
In future, they might provide additional assistance to quarantined hospitals and communities amid the epidemic.
