(ECNS) -- A customized train for returning workers left Guiyang for Hangzhou on Sunday afternoon.
It carried nearly 300 returning to work in the capital of Zhejiang Province.
It is the first such train service in China after Spring Festival.
To meet employment demand among enterprises and reduce the risk of spreading the coronavirus, Hangzhou sought assistance via a chartered train service to help return its workers.
Special measures have been employed on the train, including strict temperature monitoring, better ventilation and scattered seating.
More "point-to-point" direct trains for returning migrant workers will be soon commence service.
