(ECNS) -- Renowned Chinese respiratory expert Zhong Nanshan exchanged ideas on COVID-19 control with foreigners who live in Guangzhou during a Wednesday interview.
Nineteen foreigners from Japan, Australia, Russia, Vietnam, Palestine and a number of African countries joined the event.
Zhong shared China's experience in coronavirus testing, tracking and treatment of infected patients.
Precautionary measures such as masks and social distancing have proven effective in slowing the spread of the deadly virus, he said.
He also answered questions about when there will be no need to wear masks.
