(ECNS)--A major bridge for transportation to the Greater Bay Area city cluster saw its first steel tube of arch ribs poured with concrete successfully on Friday.
The pouring process lasts 13 hours continuously.
It signifies a step closer to full completion of construction of the bridge.
The 1,035-meter-long bridge is officially known as Third Pingnan Bridge, located in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Its construction started in June of 2018 and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2020.
