(ECNS)--The city of Cangzhou in eastern Hebei Province has expanded its self-driving test zone to include certain downtown roads.
Last year, test roads spanning a total 114 km in Cangzhou Economic and Development Zone were made available to intelligent connected vehicles (ICV) of Baidu.
Now, the city's total test road length ranks second among Chinese cities, followed by Beijing.
ICV road tests will cover driving conditions in industrial and commercial areas, transportation hubs, as well as residential zones.
