(ECNS)--The pinnacle section of Lancang River Bridge, one of the most complicated construction projects along Dali-Ruili Railway in southwest China's Yunnan Province, was completed Sunday.
The 528-meter-long arch bridge crossing Lancang River links Dali and Baoshan cities.
At 270 m above the river, it is about the height of a 90-storey building.
The bridge boasts three national technological invention patents, with builders having to overcome a number of technical challenges during its construction.
Dali-Ruili Railway, spanning a total 330 km, will shorten the travel time between Dali to Ruili from seven to three hours once complete.
