(ECNS)-- A feast for the eyes, the giant panda Thangka piece made its debut in Sichuan Province on Oct. 11.
The Thangka depicts over 600 giant pandas, representing the total number of captive pandas in the world as of December 2019.
It is the largest, longest and most abundant panda themed Thangka in China and even the world so far.
Thangka is a Tibetan Buddhist scroll painting on cotton or silk with mineral and organic pigments derived from coral, agate, sapphire, pearl, gold, and others that lasts for centuries.
