(ECNS) -- China's first deep space antenna array system has been put into operation after two years of construction and tests in Kashgar.
This system will be used for missions of Tianwen-1 Mars probe and Chang'e-4 Lunar probe.
It can track and monitor a single deep space probe with high precision.
Each antenna in the system can work independently to track multiple deep space targets simultaneously.
The system can form arrays with other observatories at home and abroad and carry out joint radio astronomical observation activities.
