(ECNS)-- The first China-Europe freight train carrying B2C cross-border e-commerce products in Guangdong departed from Pinghu in Shenzhen on Saturday.
The train "Wanqu" (Bay Area in English) was loaded with daily necessities, electronics, and household products majorly made in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
It will pass the Alashankou Port in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, and arrive in Budapest, Hungary after a 16-day journey.
The products will be delivered to European countries after customs clearance.
Freight transportation to Germany and Hungary by train has become a regular occurrence.
