(ECNS) -- PetroChina Southwest Oil and Gasfield Company has built the first field enable to extract over 30 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year in southwest China.
The field is located in the Sichuan Basin, a key area known for its abundant gas resources.
The basin stores over trillion cubic meters of shale gas, the largest shale gas production capacity in China.
The Anyue gasfield, the biggest regular field in the basin, can extract over 15 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
