(ECNS) -- Tesla has officially launched the Model Y in China and begun taking orders from customers.
The new models were sold for no less than 339,900 yuan ($52,078).
Tesla Giga Shanghai, mainly in charge of assembling Model 3s and the Model Y, began construction in January 2019.
