(ECNS) -- Bred through independent scientific research 100 days ago, a South African two-horned white rhino "Ben Ben" lives healthily at the Wild World Jinan.
Under the care of the rhino's mother Duo Duo and the keeper, the calf has grown to over 200 kilograms.
It has officially met with tourists.
Ben Ben, born on Oct. 17, 2020, weighed about 80 kg at birth. It is the first rhino baby born in the north region of the Yangtze River.
In December 2014, the Wild World Jinan began their breeding research on 6 double-horned white rhinos imported from South Africa, and finally achieved results after 5 years of practice.
