(ECNS) -- A fun parent-child marathon was held at the Wildlife World of Chongqing's Locajoy Theme Park in Chongqing on Saturday.
More than 500 families raced in the thrilling bear area led by a group of animals like black bears, alpacas, etc.
Participants had to run across 10 wildlife areas including those for alpacas, African prairie, rhinoceros house in pedestrian areas, squirrel monkey house, over a total 2.5 kilometers.
Some participants stopped when seeing animals like camels, giraffes, lions, tigers and even took out their phones to take photos with them, totally forgetting the race was still on.
They said they had fun and better bonded with their children thanks to the unique marathon.
