(ECNS) -- Guide dog Blake, together with its master surnamed Lu, took flight CZ6129 from Dalian and arrived at the Beijing Daxing International Airport, before International Guide Dog Day, which falls on April 28.
Blake is the first guide dog to fly to Daxing airport with China Southern Airlines.
At 8:20 a.m., Blake and Lu arrived at Dalian airport. Lu was given an aisle seat in the front row of economy class. He boarded the plane before other passengers. Lu was guided to his seat by a flight attendant and informed of safety precautions and the location of the bell. Blake meekly curled up beside his master, blinking, nodding and wagging its tail occasionally.
At 9: 55 a.m., the flight took off from Dalian and landed at Daxing at 11: 22 am.
