(ECNS) -- Six 335-ton torpedo cars — intelligent, green and unmanned — rolled off the assembly line in Dalian, Liaoning Province on Saturday.
The torpedo cars are equipped with driving and power supply devices guided by ground dispatching and navigation systems.
It marks an unprecedented research breakthrough in the field of intelligent and environment-friendly torpedo cars at home and abroad.
Under the intelligent operation mode, the cars will automatically leave when their tanks are detected full. There is no need for traction engines to pull them away.
