(ECNS) -- The freight train X9101, loaded with 13 containers of compound fertilizer, left China's Nanning International Railway port in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for Laos on Thursday.
After arriving in Vietnam, the goods will be shipped to Laos by road. It is the first China-Vietnam-Laos cross-border multimodal-transport freight line for agricultural products launched by Guangxi.
This new freight route will facilitate China-ASEAN bilateral trade development and also the construction of new development pattern of domestic and international dual circulation.
The goods will arrive in Laos in four days after a total journey of about 1,300 miles, which will serve local farming.
