(ECNS) -- Jiang Yunbo is a four years old boy. He began playing table tennis when he was one and a half years old and has mastered over 10 skills now.
Jiang was playing table tennis on Thursday under the guidance of his grandmother who used to be a professional table tennis player.
Though he is young, his positions and skills look very professional.
"He was so interested in table tennis that I decided to teach him. He was so short that we practiced on the coffee table at the beginning after he learned how to hold the bat. Then I bought him a Ping Pong table for kids," said Jiang's grandmother.
In order not to disturb neighbors, the grandmother taught Jiang after their neighbors went to work on working days.
At weekends, she would take him to interest-oriented table tennis class. He practiced at least one hour a day and now he has mastered more than 10 skills. Sometimes he even practices blindfolded.
"His wrist is very tender so the skills he can learn are limited. Now I've been keeping training him basic skills. He can play a dozen of skills now," said his grandmother.
Jiang has taken part in some competitions after practicing for two years. He has rare rivals of his peers. The video in which he plays table tennis has got more than 1.4 million likes.
Jiang's mother said she would not force the boy to become a professional table tennis player in the future.
