(ECNS) -- As of 5 pm on Wednesday, the migrating herd of wild Asian Migratings had moved 3.7km to the southwest in Yimen, Yuxi City.
After 4 days away from the herd, a male elephant entered Anning, Kunming at 6.30 pm.
The male elephant has been wandering in the dense forest southwest of Eight Street, about 12 km away from the herd.
Local authorities closely monitored the movement of the herd and made predictions about their migration routes.
They continued guiding the herd to the southwest by setting up fence, feeding the elephants and enforcing road control, etc.
