(ECNS) -- A total of 50,000 mu (about 3,334 ha) lavender is in full bloom in Huocheng County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
The breathtaking scenery is like a purple sea, which has attracted many tourists.
Huocheng County, located in the west of Ili River Valley, has become the largest lavender base in China due to its unique natural climate.
It is also the only lavender growing area in the world where the flower blooms in two seasons.
