(ECNS) -- A wild Asian elephant was seen passing through the Yanjiao Substation of the Mengkang Border Inspection Station in Jiangcheng County, Southwest China's Yunnan Province.
This elephant is one of the wild Asian elephants that have been wandering in Jiangcheng for a long time.
In the first half of this year alone, the elephant herd showed up eight times at this border inspection station, according to local authorities.
They might visit the place as requently as before in the following days, and the station will be prepared for their emergencies.
