(ECNS) -- Chinese electric-vehicle maker XPeng Inc. unveiled the X2, the latest version of its flying car, at a Shanghai exhibition Friday.
With a carbon fiber structure, the X2 has eight propellers across four axes and eight independent battery groups.
It is a two-seater with a maximum load of 200 kilograms and adopts a closed cockpit for the first time.
Powered by electric batteries, the X2 has the endurance for 35 minutes of flight time.
It is designed to fly between 300 meters and 500 meters high in the air, with a top speed of 130 kilometers per hour.
Its manual and automatic driving modes can meet the needs of short-distance travel in cities, and can also serve air patrol, field rescue, medical transportation, etc.
