(ECNS) -- Danxia National Geological Park in Zhangye City, northwest China's Gansu Province, is famed for its spectacular Danxia landform.
The landform is among China's seven most beautiful Danxia formations and the world's 10 most marvelous geological wonders.
It mainly comprises sandstone remains.
It's the largest and best-developed geological remains of mullion-shaped palace landscapes in China.
A spot inside resembles the Louvre in France and is representative of mullion-shaped landscapes.
This distinctive landform was shaped by natural impacts like leaching, evaporation, freezing and thawing, and weathering.
