(ECNS) -- The 2021 breeding season of Tibetan antelopes has ended in Hoh Xil.
A total of 6,185 Tibetan antelopes have moved back to Hoh Xil, among which 3,874 gave birth here, according to local nature reserve.
On May 2, the first 235 Tibetan antelopes set out for Zhuonai Lake in Hoh Xil at an altitude of 4,800 meters, marking the beginning of its large-scale migration in 2021.
They began migrating back to their original habitat on July 16 after breeding near Zhuonai Lake. The return journey ended on Aug. 16.
