(ECNS) -- Yanlong, a military dog tasked with patrolling along the Beiwan Border Defense Company in China's Xinjiang, received a customized anti-mosquito suit from netizens.
The Beiwan area has been troubled with dense swarms of mosquitoes.
Soldiers here have set up a special dog house with a mosquito net.
Yanlong has to be exposed to mosquitoes when patrolling outside, where repellents don't help due to the large number of the insects.
With headgear and a tail cover, the customized anti-mosquito suit consists of two layers, with the inner layer made of mesh fabric and the outer layer from Oxford fabric.
Velcros and zippers on the suit can fit the size of the dog, making the suit both attractive and practical.
