(ECNS) -- The Jingbian General Aviation Airport, also known as ASN UAS(Unmanned Aircraft Systems) flight test base, was officially put into operation.
Built and operated by the Unmanned System Research Institute at Northwestern Polytechnical University, it is China's first industry-wide public service platform for professional UAV system testing.
Establishment of the base has effectively filled a gap in China's UAV industry chain.
It aims to become a national comprehensive demonstration zone and public service platform for the entire country and the UAV industry.
