(ECNS) -- Liu Ruiling's realistic sand painting was praised by many visitors at home and abroad at the fifth Silk Road (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo.
Liu was attracted by sand painting as the memory of Mingsha Mountain has been rooted in her mind since childhood.
Liu believes that the soul of sand painting art lies in Dunhuang and Mingsha Mountain, so she quit her job and embarked on learning sand painting art.
The sand of Mingsha Mountain has five colors.
With five-color sand as ink and her fingers as a brush, Liu created vivid paintings by integrating the sand culture, Chinese traditional culture, and Dunhuang culture.
