Annual passenger throughput of Daxing Airport exceeds 20 million

(ECNS) -- Mr. Wang, who was going to take China Eastern Airlines Flight MU2106 from Beijing to Xi'an, became the 20 millionth passenger of Daxing International Airport in 2021 on Monday morning.

This is the first time that the annual passenger throughput of the airport has exceeded 20 million since it came into operation.

Up to now, Daxing International Airport has recorded 907 flights and 140,000 passengers in a single day.

The total passenger throughput has reached nearly 40 million, and 315,000 flights have taken off and landed. A total of 33 domestic and foreign airlines are stationed in the airport, covering 171 global destinations.
