(ECNS) -- Activities kicked off in Fangxian to celebrate upcoming National Day, including hanging national flags on old buildings.
As night fell, tourists enjoyed the ancient architecture and traditional cultural performances while passing the theater stage, antique shops, and squares.
Xiguan Street in Fangxian County was built in the Tang dynasty (618-907) and flourished in the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368- 1911).
It was once an ancient salt road.
With a total length of 1,500 meters, most of the existing buildings maintain the architectural style of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Fangxian County launched the old street renovation in 2017.
