China '20 series' aircraft wows audiences at Airshow China 2021

(ECNS) -- The 13th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China 2021) kicked off on Tuesday in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province.

In the booth of the Aviation Industrial Park, J-20 stealth fighter jets, Y-20 large transport aircraft and Z-20 helicopters are on display.

And this is the first time that three types of the new generation "20" series warplanes have come together in Zhuhai.

J-20 is a China-designed fourth-generation medium and long-range stealth fighter jet. It has precise air-to-land and air-to- sea strike capability.

Y-20 is the first China-developed large multi-role transport aircraft. This aircraft will play important roles in coping with wars, emergency response, disaster prevention and relief, and national economic construction.

With Y-20, rapid transportation and parachuting soldiers and their equipment can be conducted on a large scale over a long range. This kind of aircraft is also a fast deliverer of a variety of large heavy equipment.

Z-20 is the China-made medium-lift helicopter with double engines that can operate properly both on plain and plateau.

With good expansion compatibility, its basic transport platform can be quickly expanded to other mission statuses, It can carry out diversified missions, such as landing and transportation under all-weather conditions and can be mobilized in all areas at all times.

The Airshow China 2021 will draw to an end on Oct. 3.
