25,000-ton bridge swivels into position in Shaanxi

(ECNS) -- After nearly an hour of rotation, a bridge in Hancheng, Shaanxi Province, swiveled into position and docked with the other part successfully on Tuesday.

The bridge is 150 meters long, with the size of 20 standard basketball courts. The bridge weighs 25,000 tons, equivalent to 20,000 cars.

The successful swivel lays a solid foundation for future traffic service.
