(ECNS) -- A black crested gibbon named Little Ping An has begun training in the Wuliang Mountain National Nature Reserve in Jingdong County, Yunnan Province, before being released back to the wild.
This first-class protected animal in China was sent to Kunming for medical treatment twice in 2019, once for getting injured outside the reserve after lagging behind from the group and the other time for recurrence of illness in July of the same year.
Now it is in Jingdong and under wild training guided by staff members of the reserve and will be released back to nature when it is capable of living in the wild.
