(ECNS) -- China's first artificially-bred black-shanked douc met the public on Wednesday in Chimelong Safari Park in Guangzhou.
The baby black-shanked douc was born on July 9 and is living in transitory stage on milk to certain kinds of food, according to its breeder.
The breeder will first clean its mouth with warm water before feeding it, which will help maintain a stable microbial environment in its digestion system and prevent gastrointestinal diseases.
