Stair climbers afford seniors greater mobility

(ECNS) -- Stair climbers have been installed at a community in Taiyuan to help seniors go up and down along the stairway.

Twenty percent of residents in Binhe Community Senior House are elderly.

These devices, operated with the touch of a switch, help seniors "climb" from floor 1 to 3 in only three minutes, making it easier for them to reach the day care center or community canteen.
