(ECNS) -- Post-90s Zhao Mengkun recently arrived at Wangjiaping Village, Yuyangguan Town, Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County to give free haircuts to local seniors. She has provided a similar service to around 50 villagers in outlying localities for six months.
Zhao works in the food trade industry and often visits mountainous areas to buy agricultural and sideline products. There, she learnt that long and rugged mountain roads and haircut prices have deterred some senior villagers from looking their best. Accordingly, she made up her mind to help them.
Practicing on her family, she soon started out, posting videos online of the elderly in rural areas while calling for more support.
