Stewardess transforms into mermaid diver

(ECNS) -- Hu Wenjing is a 26-year-old stewardess with China Eastern Airlines Gansu Branch. She works full time as a first-class flight attendant, but in her spare time she turns into a beautiful diving mermaid.

When she was young, Disney's "Little Mermaid" impressed her so much that she plunged into the diving arena after growing up and learning about mermaid diving.

In the aquarium, she puts on diving gear and a purple mermaid tail. Jumping into the water, she practices various diving moves following the instructor.

Hu says that it's not easy to be a pretty mermaid since she has to wear a heavy tail and then dive by moving all her bones and muscles from head to toe, balancing herself and controlling her speed and depth. All these are very challenging.

For Hu, diving keeps her physically fit and helps her relax after finishing complicated and tiring work.

She says she like flying and diving, and is very proud to be able to do them both.
